Guided hikes every Saturday (except Dec 26) at 10am, starting December 12th through February 27 at the Varna Nature Trails.  Meet at the Stanley Community Complex, Mill Road.

Why not fight the winter blues by bundling up and getting outside for a walk in the woods?

Each Saturday, two hike leaders will guide a one-hour hike (2.5km) on the Mavis/Taylor nature trails.

All are welcome, including dogs on leash.  We will follow social distancing protocols, so please bring a mask.

Sign-in will be in the lobby of the Stanley Complex and washrooms will be open.  

You will need to sign both a COVID screening checklist and a liability waiver to participate in the hike.

During the hike, you may remove your mask as long as you keep 2m/6ft distance from other hikers.

Groups will be limited to 25, first come first served.

We will hike in any weather as long as the trail is safe, so please dress appropriately.

If the hike is cancelled, we will post that information by 8am the day of the hike on our 

Facebook page “Bayfield Trails” and website bayfieldtrails.com. 

Of course, our activities are subject to Provincial restrictions on public gatherings,
