Join us for a hike through a Carolinian forest on the historic Sawmill Trail. With the help of our guest the full moon we are offering a unique perspective of the trail.

 Meet/Park: Sawmill Trail Head on Old River Road, on the north side of the Bayfield River.  Map at http://www.bayfieldtrails.com/sawmill-trail

Distance: 2.5 km. 

Difficulty Level: moderate. Trail well marked but with some steep inclines, rough spots or obstacles.

Trail Hazards: some poison ivy to avoid

Trail surface: natural with some bridges and boardwalks

Preparation: sturdy shoes, long pants, water. Bring a flashlight or head lamp in case the clouds impede our guest the full moon.
